USER MANUAL Item No. KR-930 THUNDER SPIN RC 4x4 ROAD RAGE STUNT MACHINE (I) Get ready to operate the toy: Install a 9v battery to the controller. Install a fully charged 9.6v battery pack in the vehicle. Observe the correct polarities. The rechargeable battery pack must be charged by an adult. (II) To operate the toy: Switch the controller to ON. Switch the vehicle to ON. Push both levers on controller forward to move vehicle forward. Pull both levers on controller back to move vehicle backward. Release both levers to stop. Push one lever forward and pull one lever back to make vehicle spin. (III) Helpful hints: Do not operate the toy in the street, wet floor, or in mud and sand. These may damage it. Always observe the battery polarities when installing batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is needed. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. Warning: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user authority to operate the equipment.
Operation Description The EUT is a transmitter for Thunder Spin RC 4x4 Road Rage Stunt Machine operating at 27.145 MHz and is controlled by a crystal. The EUT is powered by 1 x 9V battery. There are two trigger levers on the EUT. When the trigger levers are activated, it will transmit different radio signals for the receiver to move in forward, backward, left or right direction. The brief circuit description is listed as follows: - Y1, Q1 and associated circuit act as oscillator circuit - ZD1 and associated circuit act as voltage regulator - IC1 and associated circuit act as encoder - Q2 and associated circuit act as amplifier
