1 MANUAL FOR BETA-1 PROTOTYPES Effective 9/30/08 Version 1.0 THE SYSTEM SafeTalk is a sight and hearing protective eyewear product, combined with voice and music communication. SafeTalk connects with any Bluetooth enabled communication device: cell phone, music player, Bluetooth adaptor. The eyewear is first `paired’ with the device of your choice, meaning it will connect to and communicate with only that device. Once the eyewear is paired with your Bluetooth device, it will be `linked’ with it automatically, so as to send and receive voice communication and music only to and from that device. When the eyewear is turned off (for example, overnight), upon being turned on again, it will automatically `link’ with its paired device. Note for the Sperian team: The eyewear can communicate simultaneously with two Bluetooth devices.
