Please install the Application Software and Drivers before inserting the Wireless Modem Card in your system. To get started proceed to the Installing the Software section of this document. is a wireless communication system capable of supporting high data rate mobile communication at vehicular speeds. The system is designed to allow standard client hosts with a PCMCIA interface to have a mobile broadband Ethernet connection. The system works transparently to the client host in a manner similar to an Ethernet connection. provides Internet Protocol based data and location services. Its geo- location accuracy and availability is better than ±10 meters within 1 second. It is capable of supporting subscribers traveling up to 100 miles per hour. Figure 1. MeshLAN WMC6300 Wireless Modem Card The system provides a secure and reliable transport for the client host. The client host may still require configuration and authentication before it will be allowed to access services on the core network. Access to the core network is controlled by the network administrator according to current operating practice. This document provides detailed installation and configuration instructions for use when installing the WMC6300 Wireless Modem Card and its Software. The robot is used to articulate the probe to programmed positions inside the phantom head to obtain the SAR readings from the EUT. The system is controlled remotely from a PC, which contains the software to control the robot and data acquisition equipment. The software also displays the data obtained from test scans. Figure 9. Block Diagram of SARA 2 System The position and digitized shape of the phantom heads/flat baths are made available to the software for accurate positioning of the probe and reduction of set-up time. The SAM phantom heads/flat baths are individually digitized using a Mitutoyo CMM machine to a precision of 0.001mm. The data is then converted into a shape format for the software, providing an accurate description of the phantom shell. In operation, the system first performs an area (2D) scan at a fixed depth within the liquid from the inside wall of the phantom.
