Get started Insert the SIM card and battery The SIM card and its contacts can be easily damaged by scratches or bending, so be careful when handling, inserting, or removing the card. Make sure the contact area of the card is facing down (3, 4). 4Line up the contacts of the battery and the battery compartment, and insert the battery (5). To replace the back cover, direct the top locking catches toward their slots (6), and press down until the cover locks into place (7). Safe removal. Charge the battery Your battery has been partially charged at the factory. If the device indicates a low charge, do the following: 1Connect the charger to a wall outlet. 2Connect the charger to the device. 3When the device indicates a full charge, disconnect the charger from the device, then from the wall outlet. You do not need to charge the battery for a specific length of time, and you can use the device while it is charging. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take several minutes before the charging indicator appears on the display or before any calls can be made. Antennas Your device may have internal and external antennas.
