Response to TCB Findings 1. Has the device been tested in 3 orthogonal planes to maximize emissions as it does not seem to have a fixed orientation? Please clarify. The device was maximized in 3 orthogonal orientations and the worst-case reading at each frequency was listed in the report. 2. The label document needs to show the final label, including final color. The label sample makes a note for the label color stating that it's in "negative" form. New label exhibit attached. 3. From the AC line conducted emissions table it appears that the Tx and Rx units are separate. Are they different enclosures? Is this application intended to cover the Tx only? Please clarify. To facilitate testing, Millenial provided 2 samples, one programmed for TX only and the other programmed for RX only. The units are physically and electrically identical. 4. The user's manual mentions an external and an internal antenna for the device ( Sub-base Router (model RT-5209Z1) ). From the test data and internal pictures supplied it appears that the device has been tested with the internal antenna only. Please clarify the antenna options for the device. Please find attached an updated user manual that has the optional (external) antenna removed. Millennial will not be offering the optional antenna at this time

The product covered by this report is RT-5209Z1, which is a wireless subbase router system. The manufacture requires the following antenna to be used with RT-5209: i) RCS Right-Angle Reduced -Height RP-SMA A detailed description of the above-mentioned antenna can be found in the antenna exhibit. Test Methodology All testing was performed according to the procedures specified in ANSI C63.4 (2002). The product was tested with modulation on and peak readings were compared against the average limit presented in section CFR 15.249. Frequency range investigated: 30MHz – 10GHz Measurement Distance: Frequency (MHz) Distance (m) Comments Fundamental (916.6MHz) 3 m Radiated 30MHz – 10GHz except 902-928MHz band 3m Radiated Spurious Measurements The EUT was fully maximized. The EUT antenna can not be maximized separately. The product only has one channel of operation and was evaluated at that channel. The product was also tested in Rx mode for spurious emissions. The product is DC powered. The product was tested with an AC adaptor model Radioshack cat no. 273-1690. Line conducted emissions testing was performed with a 50Ω/50μH LISN. All readings are peak unless otherwise noted.
