1 MCR28A Backup Camera with Bluetooth Model: MCR28A Manufacturer: UNIFAT TECHNOLOGY LTD 2 1. Getting Started 1.1 Installing MCR28A Rearview Mirror 1. Hook the MCR28A onto your existing rearview mirror 2. Connect the USB cable to the unit and connect the cigarette plug (DC12~24V) 3. Use the magic tape belt provided to fixed the unit on the rearview mirror 1.2 Installing camera and transmitter box 1. Locate the reverse light 2. Hardwire the power cable to the reserve light to obtain power 3. Connect the power cable to the transmitter box 4. Release the license plate 5. Fix the find a suitable place to drill a hole so the date cable of the camera can go into the car and connect with the transmitter box. 6. Insert the data cable to the hole and connect it to the transmitter box. 7. Fix the camera on the license plate by the 3M tape provided on the metal clip 8. Fix the license plate. 1.3 Pairing the camera (THIS FUNCTION TO BE ADVICED) PS: This is not necessary during installation unless the unit are not able to con nect to the transmitter. All units during export has been paired (Since we have to power on the camera before pairing, so user have to shift the gear to reserve, please make sure the engine is not started and parking brake has been tighten) From the camera: Press the pairing button and the red led will blink From the rearview mirror 1. Power on the unit. 2. Press “MENU” 3. Scorll to “Camera Setting” (If no Bluetooth connected, you will see “Pair Camera” under MENU) 3 4. Press SEND 5. Scroll to “Pair Camera” 6. Press “Send” to confirm” 7. If pair successful, it will say “Pair OK” 8. If fail, “Pair fail” Since there is a timeout on searching the camera, so please enter pairing mode on the camera before the operation on the mirror. 2. Using the parking camera The parking camera will automatically activate when user shift the gear to parking mode. User can do the following adjustment on the LCD screen. (Following operation will shown on MENU when the parking camera is turned ON) 2.1 Parking Aid Line To turn on/off parking aid line: 1. Press MENU 2. Scroll to “Guide Line” 3. Press SEND to on/off 2.2 Brightness To set brightness 1. Press MENU 2. Scroll to “Brightness” 3. Press SEND to enter 4. Press UP and DOWN to adjust 2.3 Contrast To set contrast 1. Press MENU 2. Scroll to “Contrast” 3. Press SEND to enter 4. Press UP and DOWN to adjust 2.4 Camera ON/OFF To switch camera ON/OFF 1. Press MENU 2. Scroll to “Camera ON/OFF” 4 3. Press SEND to set 3. Bluetooth Function 3.1 Pairing with mobile 1. Press END to exit other operation 2. Press and hold “MENU” and you will see “Pairing” 3. Use your mobile to search MCR28A, the unit name is “AXIA” 4. If pairing successful, you will see “Pair OK” 3.2 Conecting the device The unit will automatically being connected after pairing. (Some mobile might need confirmation on the mobile) If not, press SEND to search for mobile 3.3 Making call 3.3.1 Call by last number redial Press Send twice 3.3.2 Call by call registry 1. Press SEND 2. Scroll UP and DOWN for desire number 3. Press SEND to dial 3.3.3 Call from phonebook contacts 1. Press MENU 2. Scroll to “PhoneBook” 3. Press Send to enter 4. Scroll the first characters of the desire number by pressing UP and DOWN 5. Press Send to confirm 6. Seacrh for the desire phone number to 5 3.3.4 Call from Speed Dial Press and hold either UP, DOWN or MENU 3.3.5 Voice dialing (This feature is depends on mobile) Press and hold SEND until the function activate. 3.4 Receiving call To receive call, press SEND 3.5 Reject call To reject a call, press END 3.6 Call Waiting 3.6.1 To answer an incoming call during call, press SEND 3.6.2 To reject an incoming call during call, press END 3.6.3 To switch between lines, press SEND 4 Phonebook 4.1 Downloading phone book Phonebook will be automatically download to the unit after pairing. You will see a arrow sign on the up left corner showing phonebook transfer is in process. User may also transfer phone from their mobile using OPP or manually download phonbook To download phonebook manually 1. Press MENU 2. Scroll to “PB Setting” 3. Press SEND to confirm 4. Scroll to “Download PB” 5. Press Send 6. To start download, press SEND or END to exit 7. If the phonbook storage reach it maximum quantities, it will show 6 “Memory Full” 4.2 Check total number of contacts 1. Press MENU 2. Scroll to “PB Setting” 3. Press SEND to confirm 4. Scroll to “Total Contacts” 5. Press Send 4.3 Delete Phonebook 1. Press MENU 2. Scroll to “PB Setting” 3. Press SEND to confirm 4. Scroll to “Delete PB” 5. Press Send 6. The screen will show “Are you sure?” 7. Press SEND to confirm or END to exit 5. Speed Dialing User are able to setup their desire speed dialing number. There are 3 speed dial key: UP, DOWN, MENU To setup Speed Dialing 1. Press MENU 2. Scroll to “Speed Dialing” 3. Press SEND 4. Scroll to your desire speed dialing key then press MENU 5. Search for your speed dialing number 6. Press SEND to confirm or END to exit Note: Phonebook must be setup in prior in order to setup speed dial 6. A2DP Music playback MCR28A support music play back from mobile which support music playing. If you mobile supports A2DP, a music note symbol will appear on the upper left corner on the display. To operate music playback: 7 Press MENU twice to enter A2DP interface -­‐ Press MENU to Play/Pause -­‐ Press and hold UP to previous -­‐ Press and hold DOWN to next -­‐ Press UP to increase volume -­‐ Press DOWN to decrease volume 7. TTS Text to Speech MCR28A supports TTS for callers name announcement and during operation. There are 5 language to choose: -­‐ English -­‐ French -­‐ Italian -­‐ Spanish -­‐ German 7.1 To turn on/off TTS feature: 1. Press MENU 2. Scroll to “PB Setting” 3. Press SEND 4.
