Ground the equipment To minimize shock hazard, the SAILOR 7224 Control Unit unit and the SAILOR 7226 VHF Transceiver Unit must be connected to an electrical ground and the cable instructions must be followed. RF exposure hazards and instructions Your Cobham SATCOM radio set generates electromagnetic RF (radio frequency) energy when transmitting. To ensure that you and those around you are not exposed to excessive amounts of energy and thus to avoid health hazards from excessive exposure to RF energy, all persons must be at least 200 cm away from the antenna when the radio is transmitting. Warranty limitation IMPORTANT - The radio is not a user maintainable unit, and under no circumstances should the unit be opened except by authorized personnel. Unauthorized opening of the unit will invalidate the warranty. Installation and service Installation and general service must be done by skilled service personnel.
