Modular TypeSingle Modular ApprovalConfidentialityLong Term Grant NotesSingle Modular Approval. Output power listed is ERP for Part 22, 27 and 90 for frequencies below 1 GHz, and EIRP for Part 24 and 27 for frequencies above 1 GHz. This device is to be used only for mobile and fixed application. The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. End-Users must be provided with transmitter operation conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. OEM integrators must insure that the end user has no manual instructions to remove or install the module. For mobile and fixed operating configurations, the antenna gain, including cable loss, must not exceed 8.70 dBi at 700 MHz, 9.41 dBi at 824-849 MHz, 9.36 dBi at 814-824 MHz, 5.0 dBi at 1700 MHz and 8.0 dBi at 1900 MHz as defined in 2.1091 for satisfying RF exposure compliance. Under no conditions may an antenna gain be used that would exceed the ERP and EIRP power limits as specified in Parts 22, 24, 27 and 90. The Grantee is responsible for providing the documentation required for modular use. The host integrator installing this module into their product must ensure that the final composite product complies with the FCC requirements by a technical assessment or evaluation to the FCC rules, including the transmitter operation and should refer to guidance in KDB 996369.
This device also contains functions that are not operational in US Territories. This filing is only applicable for US operations.
