This will be your personal portal through which you will be able to monitor and customize your system Step 3 Download the Kill-@lert software to your PC. Make sure you select the appropriate software package based on the operating system your PC has. Step 4 Follow the installation instructions and install the software to your PC Step 5 Once the software is installed, plug in the Victor® Kill-@lert USB device into the USB slot on your PC Step 6 Go back to www.victorkillalert.com and register your traps using the trap code on the back of the electronic mouse/rat trap. Step 7 Turn on your electronic mouse/rat trap Step 8 Once the trap information portal shows up on your screen you can name your trap and designate the location you will be placing it at Step 9 Place the trap in the desired location. Once the mouse has been caught, your web portal on victorkillalert.com will be updated with the catch information. The Mouse trap has 2 or 3 metal plates that are used to detect the presence of a rodent. Once a rodent is detected, an electrical voltage is applied with the intent of dispatching the animal. If the unit detects the presence of a rodent again after the voltage is applied, a notification is given. If no rodent is present, the unit resets and waits for the next event catch.
