Using CDMA 1x modem protocol, heartbeat is happened only when the repeater system operates correctly. FCC ID: STERSP-DPP-1900 After a review of the submitted information, I have a few comments on the above referenced Application. 1) CDMA should be listed on the 731 form as 1M25F9W. Please correct. 2) EUT photographs can not typically be held under normal confidentiality without strong justification - which does not appear to apply here. Please update the general confidentiality letter to remove this. Please note that any request for photos under Short-Term confidentiality will still be considered acceptable, it is just that they can not be held confidential indefinitely. 3) Internal photographs must show the top and bottom of circuit boards of all RF components, including underneath any existing shields (i.e. inside and both sides of the modem and attenuator components). Additionally, please provide a rear photograph of the SNMP board. 4) A general internal photograph (i.e. such as was shown for the external photos) showing the construction and layout of the inside should also be provided as part of the internal photographs. Please provide. 5) Please provide information regarding both the DC voltages AND DC currents applied into the several elements of the final radio frequency amplifying device for normal operation over the power range been provided? (according to 2.1033(c)(8)). 6) Please provide a description of all circuitry and devices provided for determining and stabilizing frequency, for suppression of spurious radiation, for limiting modulation, and for limiting power been provided (according to 2.1033(c)(10). 7) Please explain if the attenuator installed in the unit is a fixed value and will always be present. Note that current measured power and tune up appear to be around 9 dBm, while the modem is capable of 23 dBm. Please explain. 8) Please provide MPE estimation information in support of not requiring MPE measurements according to 2.1091. 9) User installation should contain some information regarding RF exposure requirements. Please update 10) Many pages of the schematics are not readable. The FCC expects all values to be readable on the schematics. Please correct. 11) The schematics do not include the TX. Note that a schematic for the TX portion of the device is required as specified part 2 for the RF section. Please provide either a schematic for the TX card or as an alternative, the parts list must clearly identify the part that is provided by another manufacturer (show manufacturer, model, etc.). Please provide either a schematic or parts list as specified. 12) FYI.... This application has a short term confidentiality request. Please note that regarding short term confidentiality, you are responsible for the following: a) Note that any documents held under the short-term confidentiality will automatically become public after 45 days. However, please note that a manufacturer may extend this period up to an additional 45 days at least twice after the original 45 day period. Hello Timothy, We uploaded the revised file on your website. So, we can not take a picture the bottom of attenuator pcb board. 4. revised internal photos file uploaded 5. revised tune-up procedure file uploaded 6. The RSP-DPP-1900 system uses the RF modem that already got the FCC approval. The FCC ID of RF modem is "PKRNVWFB2C". So, R-tron guy said to me that we are very difficult to get the schematic and confidential documents from them. The equipment under test is placed on a wooden turntable 3 meters from the receive antenna. The receive antenna height and turntable rotations were adjusted for the highest reading on the receive spectrum analyzer (or receiver). A half wave dipole was substituted in place of the EUT. This dipole antenna was driven by a signal generator with the level of the signal generator being adjusted to obtain the same receive spectrum analyzer reading. This level is recorded. For readings above 1GHz, the above procedure is repeated using horn antennas and the difference between the gain of the horn and an isotropic or dipole antenna are taken into consideration. The EUT was placed on a wooden turn table 3 meters from the receive antenna. The receive antenna height and turn table rotation was adjusted for the highest reading on the receive spectrum analyzer. For CDMA signals, a peak detector is used, with RBW = VBW = 3MHz. For AMPS, GSM, and NADC TDMA signals, a peak detector is used, with RBW = VBW = 1MHz, A Horn antenna was substituted in place of the EUT. This Horn antenna was driven by a signal generator and the level of the signal generator was adjusted to obtain the same receive spectrum analyzer reading. This spurious level is recorded. For reading 1GHz, the above procedure is repeated using horn antennas and the difference between the gain of the horn and an isotropic or dipole antenna are taken into consideration. The transmitter output is connected to the spectrum analyzer. The RBW is set to 1% of the Emission bandwidth. The VBW is set to 3 times the RBW. The sweep time is coupled. 3. DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE UNDER TEST The level of the carrier and the various conducted spurious and harmonic frequencies is measured by means of a calibrated spectrum analyzer.
