Please note that further comments may arise in response to answers provided to the questions below. 1. FYI – Please note that the space between “FCC ID” and “:” appears to be fairly great and may be confusing to the user. Please consider placing the “:” immediately after the “FCC ID” term in future applications. 2. Please note that the equipment code in not correct. You have put “PCE” as the equipment code, however, this is not a held to the ear device, but is an amplifier/repeater whose equipment code should be PCB. Please correct the 731 form to show the proper equipment code. 3. Please note that you have not put the description of the device on the 731 form in section 4(a). It is not know therefore how you want this device described on the grant. Unless informed otherwise, the description used will be taken from the authorization letter and be “ RF Repeater”. If a different description is desired, please correct the description field in the 731 form (section 4a). 4. Please note that the manual does not appear to contain the required rf exposure statement. Please provide a manual with the rf exposure statements requiring the 20cm separation distance from antenna and body. 5. Please note that the FCC has stated that when a device in the licensed services has a removable or external antenna, then the power listed on the grant should be the conducted antenna terminal power. Please note that as this is a repeater with external antenna connections, the power out of the device needs to be the antenna terminal conducted power and not the eirp power of the device. Please provide the antenna conducted power for this device. 6. Please note that when EIRP data is provided the FCC has stated that it is not sufficient to simply provide the end results in the measurement data, but that certain other information is needed. Please provide a report giving the power out of the signal generator, the gain of the substitution antenna and any cable loss from the signal generator to the antenna. Please also note that a sample calculation of how the power is obtained is required by 2.1046(c). 7. Please note that in section 4 of the test report you state the section deals with Output Power, but then you state “This spurious level is recorded.” Please note that as the output power would be a fundamental emission measurement it would not be classified as a spurious emission. Please explain and please correct as needed. 8. Please note that the manual states the input level can range from -43dBm to -56dBm. Please note that the input signal used during testing was only -56dBm. Please note that amplifiers, boosters and repeaters are to be tested using the highest input signal levels for the device. Please explain why -43dBm was not used as the input level for this device. Please re-measure if needed.
