Re: STZSDP600TU: Letter of Agency To Whom It May Concern: We certify that we are not subject to denial of federal benefits, that includes FCC benefits, pursuant to Section 5301 of the Anti-Drug Abuse ACT of 1988, U.S.C. 862. Further, no party, as defined in 47 CFR 1.2002(b), to the application, is subject to denial of federal benefits, that includes FCC benefits. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Yours faithfully, Simoco Australasia Pty Ltd Robert Stowell Senior Engineer Date: 24/06/2013 TraC Global Ltd 100 Frobisher Business Park Malvern Worcestershire WR14 1BX UK
Re: FCC Declaration of Similarity: FCC ID: STZSDP600TU To Whom It May Concern: Please be advised that the models SDP650TU and SDP660TU are electronically identical, all RF measurements and test results are exactly the same. The difference between the two models is that the SDP660TU radio has a full alpha numeric keypad and graphic liquid crystal display whereas the SDP650TU has no alpha numeric keypad and a simpler 12 character liquid crystal display. Thank you for your attention to these matters. Yours sincerely, Simoco Australasia Pty Ltd Robert Stowell Senior Engineer Date: 24/06/2013 TraC Global Ltd 100 Frobisher Business Park Malvern Worcestershire WR14 1BX UK
Re: Extended Frequency Justification: FCC ID: STZSDP600TU To Whom It May Concern: Simoco Australasia Pty Ltd would like to submit the following justification to show the frequency range as 406.1 – 480 MHz on the Grant of Equipment Authorization for STZSDP600TU equipment. This frequency range is applicable to FCC Part 90 radiocommunication systems that would include federal and public agencies, emergency services, commercial, business and industrial services etc. These services account for the majority of users on this band (refer to the list below). Frequency: Application: 406.1 – 420 Federal Government 420 – 480 Federal Government and Part 90 Also the frequency of operation of the STZSDP600TU portable radio cannot be programmed by the operator to transmit on frequencies other than those programmed by service or maintenance personnel. From the FCC KDB634187 guide, it is noted that FCC rules would be violated if the STZSDP600TU equipment were programmed and operated on unauthorized frequencies. Thank you for your attention to these matters. Yours sincerely, Simoco Australasia Pty Ltd Robert Stowell Senior Engineer Date: 06/08/2013 TraC Global Ltd 100 Frobisher Business Park Malvern Worcestershire WR14 1BX UK
Re: STZSDP600TU Certification: FCC Request for Confidentiality in Accordance with FCC Rule 0.459 To Whom It May Concern: The following information is to be held confidential pursuant of 47 CFR Part 0 §0.459 and Section 552(b)(4) of the Freedom of Information Act, because the information provided contains trade secrets and is proprietary. If made public, the information might be used to the disadvantage of the applicant in the market place. • Schematics • Operational Description • Block Diagram • Parts List Yours sincerely, Simoco Australasia Pty Ltd Robert Stowell Senior Engineer Date: 24/06/2013 TraC Global Ltd 100 Frobisher Business Park Malvern Worcestershire WR14 1BX UK
Re: Spectrum Efficiency: FCC ID: STZSDP600TU To Whom It May Concern: This is to certify that the requirements of 47 CFR Part 90.203(j)(4) and (5) spectrum efficiency standard of one voice channel per 12.5kHz of channel bandwidth are met by the STZSDP600TU portable radio as demonstrated by the tests conducted on the sample radio provided (11k0F3E emission). Additionally in this sample, the 4FSK data rate is in accordance with ETSI TS 102 361-1 that is 9600 bits per second in a 12.5kHz channel bandwidth using TDMA, therefore the STZSDP600TU transmitted data satisfies the requirement of 4800 bits per second per 6.25kHz of channel bandwidth (7K60FXE and 7K60FXD emissions). Thank you for your attention to these matters. Yours sincerely, Simoco Australasia Pty Ltd Robert Stowell Senior Engineer Date: 06/08/2013 TraC Global Ltd 100 Frobisher Business Park Malvern Worcestershire WR14 1BX UK
Re: Frequency Programming: FCC ID: STZSDP600TU To Whom It May Concern: The frequency of operation of the STZSDP600TU portable radio cannot be programmed by the operator to transmit on frequencies other than those programmed by service or maintenance personnel. The STZSDP600TU portable radio requires the operating frequencies to be programmed through the use of an external device only available to service or maintenance personnel. Thank you for your attention to these matters. The device has a whip antenna. The objective of the measurements done by IMST was the dosimetric assessment of one test device in the 400 MHz – 480 MHz frequency range in FM Analogue PMR mode in body worn and PTT configuration. The examinations have been carried out with the dosimetric assessment system „DASY4“. The measurements were made according to the 47 CFR § 2.1093 [47CFR] for evaluating compliance of mobile and portable devices with FCC limits for human exposure (general population) to radiofrequency emissions and IEEE 1528-2003 [IEEE1528-2003]. Additional information and guidelines given by the following FCC documents were used: SAR Measurement Requirements for 100 MHz to 6 GHz [KDB 865664] Mobile and Portable Devices RF Exposure Procedures and Equipment Authorization Policies [KDB 447498] SAR Test Reduction Considerations for Occupational PTT Radios [KDB 643646] All measurements have been performed in accordance to the recommendations given by SPEAG.
