No. 4.0, 2015-04-17 2.2 Short description of the equipment under test (EUT) The activce timing system is used for time measurements in sport events and consists out of the RR02 (base srarion) and the RR01 (transponder). The RR02s 125 kHz loop antenna is placed on the time measurement position. The RR01 is mounted on the participant of the event or its equipment. The 125 kHz signal triggers a 2.4GHz transmission between the RR02 and the RR01. This message contains the required information and is stored. The functions of the RR01 are controlled by the 125 kHz signal of the RR02.
