1 Johnny Stewart Wildlife Calls PM-4 Remote Digital Caller Operating Instructions PM-4 Remote Digital Caller Your new PM-4 Remote Digital Caller is backed by 40 years of experience. The PM-4 will create incredible fun and success for your enjoyment of the outdoors. Whether used for hunting, photography or observation of wildlife, the PM-4 will create opportunities for you to experience nature up close in a dynamic way with Superior Sounds...Dynamic Results. Attractor Features: 1. Authentic Johnny Stewart Live Animal Recordings, Digitally Re-mastered. 2. Remote control operation up to 150 yards with remote 10 to 12 inches off ground. 3. Durable water resistant membrane keypad 4. Can play any two sounds at one time. 5. Speaker 1.08 lb, Base & Remote 1.19 lb =2.27 lb. total weight. 6. Holds 12 sounds (three cards x four sounds each). PM-4 is compatible with all J.S. Memory Cards. 7. Remote has 12 raised sound selection buttons and 1 raised stop button. 8. Interchangeable sound reference tabs for remote, to indicate selected cards in the base unit. 9. Continuous play. 10. 15 second sound loops. 11. 100 decibels* at full power. 12. Raised ON/OFF button on base Unit. 13. Remote is auto ON/OFF with sound selection or stop 14. Convenient Volume Control Switch on side of remote. 15. Red LED light card indicator on base. 16. Remote transmitter holder on back of base unit. 17. Speaker mount bracket on front of base unit. 18. 10 Foot extension cord for speaker. 19. One heavy duty nylon lanyard. 20. Lanyard loop on the top of the base unit to easily hang base or base and speaker. POWER SOURCE The PM-4 is powered by four AA batteries in Base Unit and a single 9 Volt battery in the Transmitter (batteries not included). No need to fumble with screws on Base Unit or Remote to change batteries. Maximum performance is provided by alkaline batteries. Note: The PM-4 will NOT shut down due to inactivity and remains powered until Base Unit is manually shut off. CALLING OPERATIONS First place the required batteries in the remote and base units. Ensure that the batteries are installed correctly. Improper battery installation will prevent the unit from operating. Locate base and speaker in desired location. Note: you can use the 10 feet extension cord to separate the base and speaker if desired. Insert speaker cord jack into the receptacle on the top of the base unit. Select the sound card(s) containing the sounds you desire, and insert into PM-4. Push on sound card(s) until you feel it snap as the sound card engages the internal receptacle. Insert the coinciding sound reference tab in the remote. Be sure that the reference cards are inserted into the same slot (A, B or C) as the memory cards were inserted in the base unit. Turn base unit on by positioning the ON/OFF switch located on the right side of the base unit. Begin calling by pressing the button on transmitter located next to the desired sound. Selected sound will play continually until stop button is depressed on transmitter. Increase volume by pushing the volume up button. Decrease volume by pushing the volume down button. Volume automatically resets to the lowest setting each time the base unit switch is turned off. When finished with the PM-4, be sure to switch the base unit off to conserve battery life. 2 If you desire two sounds to play simultaneously, push one sound selection first, and then push the second sound selection from any card. Both sounds will play at the same time until the stop button is depressed. You can cycle the sounds by continuing to push the sound buttons, and the sounds associated with the last two buttons pushed will play until the stop button is depressed. Storage of the PM-4 with the sound cards in place allows a small drain on the batteries that over a long period of time will reduce battery life. Insert soft plug into memory card insertion slot to keep out dirt and debris. LANYARD Using the lanyard to hang Base Unit from limb or bush may increase remote performance, depending on conditions. Attaching lanyard to transmitter to wear around neck eases operation and helps prevent loss/damage. STORAGE For proper storage ensure that the PM-4 is turned off. If you intend to store your PM-4 for an extended period, the batteries should be removed from the Remote and Base Unit. MAINTENANCE With proper care your PM-4 requires little or no maintenance. Always carry a set of new batteries in your vehicle. PM-4 WARRANTY Your Johnny Stewart PM-4 Digital Caller is a quality product, fully warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 12 month from the date of purchase. Faulty parts covered under this warranty will be replaced free of charge. If it becomes necessary to return your unit, all shipments must be insured and prepaid to and from the factory. This warranty is void if the warranty card has not been returned to us at the time of purchase. This warranty shall not apply if the unit has not been operated in accordance with the instruction or the machine has been altered, repaired, mistreated in any way that we believe has caused the failure or destruction of the unit. This warranty is in lieu of all other expressed or implied except for any special written agreement entered into with Johnny Stewart. Operational Description

Attractor Remote Digital Caller Circuit Description Master circuit: IC1 is voltage regulator IC, supply the 3.3V voltage power to IC2 and RX MODUL. Q1 is voltage regulator IC, supply the 3.3V voltage power to U4 IC2 is program MCU, when the RF receiver module have data output, the MCU will encode data and out low level to trigger U4 play sounds, IC4 is memorizer U4 is voice IC, include four sounds and one reset and ON/OFF and power control input PIN. According to IC2 output trigger signal perform different play sounds or reset. IC3 is sounds power amplifier circuit. U4 output sounds signal pass through IC3 Power amplifier driver the speaker. Receiver module circuit: Receiver circuit working Ultra-regeneration mode. Q1 is RF amplifier, Q2 working capacitor mode oscillation. Transmit module circuit: Q5, Q6, Q7, Q8 is power control, when any key press will provide power to PT2264 and Q3. PT2264 is encoder IC, The 18PIN is in series with Q1 C and terminal and gets work power. PT2264 bring the address signal to high frequency tube Q3 and control it (1~6PIN of PT2264 contact the ground or VCC then can choose the address signal group.) Q1 is high frequency power magnify tub. SAW is resonance component, can supply 433.92MHz frequency, after modulated and Amplified, transmit to around space though antenna. Transmit circuit working ASK mode.
