Short press [ 21 UP ] or [ DN ] to change SQ level. Hold [ 31 UP ] or [ DN ] can fast change SQ level. Hold 41 or wait for 3 seconds to store and exit. Hold 11 key, until LCD displays AQ, the ASQ function turned on. The LCD will displays "A.X", "X" stands for the ASQ level. Short press microphone [ 21 UP ] or [ DN ] to change SQ level Hold microphone [ 31 UP ] or [ DN ] can fast change ASQ level. Hold 41 or wait for 3 seconds to store and exit. Channel Control Short press [ 11 UP ] or [ DN ] to change working channel. Hold [ 21 UP ] or [ DN ] can fast change working channel. HOW TO USE THIS RADIO Power On/Off the radio Volume Control Turn VOL switch clockwise to power on the radio, the LCD 11 displays the Norms and then displays channel number. Turn VOL switch anti-clockwise, until hear Ka Ta, the radio is 21 powered off. Turn clockwise to increase volume, anti-clockwise to decrease volume. Mode Control Note:When RFG function is on, the LCD displays R. If RFG level is 6 means the attenuation is 6dBm. Note:In lock Mode all keys except PTT is valid. Short press 11 key to switch between AM /FM mode. The LCD displays the selected mode. 21 Scan Function RF Gain Control Emergency Channel Keypad Lock Hold 11 to start scan function, "SC" falshes in the LCD; Press [ 21 UP ] or [ DN ] to change scan direction during scan; Press 31 or [PTT] key to exit scan function. Short press 11 key, LCD displays R and the present RF gain level flashes. Short press microphone [ 21 UP ] or [ DN ] to change level. Short press 31 key to exit RF gain level control. Short press 11 key to choose CH9, the channel number flashes. Short press 21 key again to choose CH19, the channel number flashes. Short press 31 key third time to return to last normal channel. Hold 11 key for over 2 seconds to lock the keys, LCD displays "LC". Hold 21 key for over 2 seconds again to unlock the keys, LCD displays OF. Band Control High/Low Control Install External Speaker Resume Factory Default Hold 11 to power on radio, until LCD displays the bands; Press [ 21 UP ] or [ DN ] to choose wanted bands; Power off and power on again. 31 Hold 11 and PTT key to power on; Press [ 21 UP ] or [ DN ] to choose wanted power level, PH is 8W, PL is 4W; Power off and power on again. 31 Choose a 8Ω external speaker with 3.5mm mono connector. Hold 11 key to power on radio, until the LCD displays "RT". All channel and function setting will resume factory default 21 after above operation. This device will not be able to receive transmissions in the cellular telephone bands by means of clipping the leads of, or installing, a simple component such as a diode, resistor or jumper wire; replacing a plug-in semiconductor chip; or programming a semiconductor chip using special access codes or an external device, such as a personal computer. This device is also incapable of converting digital cellular communication transmissions to analog voice audio. This device is designed so that the tuning, control and filtering circuitry is inaccessible. Any attempts to modify the equipment to receive transmissions from the Cellular Radiotelephone Service will render the receiver inoperable. This scanning receiver rejects any signals from the Cellular Radiotelephone Service frequency bands that are 38 dB or lower based upon a 12 dB SINAD measurement. We are aware that the modification of this device to receive transmissions from Cellular Radiotelephone Service frequency bands will be considered to constitute manufacture of such equipment. This includes any individual, individuals, entity or organization that modifies one or more scanners. Any modification to receive transmissions from the Cellular Radiotelephone Service frequency bands voids the certification of the scanning receiver, regardless of the date of manufacture of the original unit.
