Blue tooth Device FCC ID: T9JRN41-1 Federal Communication Commission Interference Statement This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digita l device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonab le protection against harmful interf erence in a reside ntial installation. This equipment generates, uses and can ra diate radio frequency energy an d, if not installed and used in accordance with the ins tructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interferen ce will not occur in a partic ular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interferen ce to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipme nt off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct th e interference by one of the following measures: . Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. . Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. . Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. . Consult the dealer or an experien ced radio/TV technician for help. FCC ID: T9JRN41-1 Federal Communications Commission Equipment Authorization Division Application Processing Branch 7435 Oakland Mills Road Columbia, MD 21046 Subject: Bluetooth Device, FCC ID: T9JRN41-1 Dear Sirs, We certify below that the T9JRN41-1 meets the eight requirements described by the FCC public notice DA 00-1407 “ Part 15 Unlicensed Modular Transmitter Approval”. 1. RF shielding. The T9JRN41-1 Bluetooth module has its own RF shielding. The metal shield is securely attached (soldered), completely encloses all components. Refer to enclosed photo. 2. Excessive data rates/over modulation. The module circuitry buffers all modulation and control inputs to the transmitter. Control of the transmitter is achieved thru commands and software instructions contained with the processor of the module. 3. Power supply regulation. The module has its own power supply regulation. The module operates at 1.8VDC, the regulator is internal to the CSR BC04 RF processor, and operates correctly regardless of the design of the power supply circuitry of any device in which the module is installed. 4. Antenna requirement. The antenna is on board internal type and there is no external antenna connector. 5. Stand alone configuration. The module was tested with DC power, data inputs/outputs connected to the module on a small carrier PCB with only such minimum power and data connections as required to perform testing. No filter or ferrites were used. The module was not enclosed in any host device during the testing. 6. FCC ID label supply regulation. The module has the FCC ID clearly printed in indelible ink on the shield. Please refer to enclosed photo. In such cases where this number may not be visible, the end-product will contain appropriate labeling “Contains Transmitter Module FCC ID: T9JRN41-1” , per DA 00-1407. 7. Compliant with operating requirements. The module is completely controlled by is onboard processor, as such there are no user interfaces capable of operating the module outside the scope of the regulations. 8. RF exposure requirements. The module is a spread-spectrum very low power (<15dBm) transmitter, radiates very low power levels, and was tested and found to comply under section 15.247(b)(4).
