If the pairing was successful, the radio will start trans If the pairing was successful, the radio will start trans- mitting until the wireless PTT button is released. Press and hold the wireless PTT button while you are talking, release when finished. The wireless PTT will not function unless the adapter is linked up with a Remote device. Battery The battery in the wireless PTT module is a dispos- able "watch style" battery. The battery is a CR2032 lithium type and is available in any Radio Shack, Wal-Mart, etc... Our current estimate on battery life is 3 months. This is based on the button being held down 90 min- utes per day, 5 days per week. The battery can be accessed by prying the wireless PTT housing apart. Remove the PCB from the plas- tic housing and slide the battery out of the holder. The new battery should be installed with the nega- tive side toward the PCB and the positive side toward the holder. When the new battery is in- stalled, replace the PCB into the housing and snap the housing back together. This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
