LO LA-HT is a s ta nd-alone GPS tracking module. Due to its a ll- in-one compact design, it can be ea s ily e mbedd ed into the va luab le mea s ure me nt eq uip me nt o r mac hine ry. B y mea ns o f GS M/ GPRS ne two rks a nd ut il izes a high sensitivity GPS receiver, the owner of tho se assets ca n track his as set’s rea l time pos itio n. In orde r to use LO LA-HT, user must ha ve GSM/GP RS service from a wireless service provider and subscribe a service fro m a Location-based-service platform, such as, La iLoca t io nN o w.com, which is from Laipac Technology Inc. 1.2 Main Features • Available for GSM/GPRS in 850/1900 900/1800 MHz • Complies with FCC, CE, and PTC RB (under certificating process now) • Compact and robust design for its ins ta llatio n ins ide o f the meas ure ment equipment or machinery • LEDs for ind ica ting GPS, GSM & Ba tte ry c harging Sta tus. • Built-in Li-Io n Po lymer rechargeable battery for continuous position tracking and enabled event alert when external DC inp ut power supply does no t e xist. • New ge ne rat io n o f High-Sens itivity GPS rece iver w it h AGPS s uppo rt • Power button for powering on/off this module • Inte llige nt lo gge r, S ma rt Lo gger, de s igned to sto re d yna mic wa ypo int info rma tio n in the area without GS M/GPRS net work co vera ge. This card sho uld ha ve SMS functions and with valid data plan enabled, otherwise, his LOLA-HT will not able to access the Location Based Service platform, such as, LocationNow.com, which requires a SIM card with the data co mmunica tio n p la n enabled. 2.2 Installation of SIM Card Follow the s teps be low to ins ta ll the SIM Card into LO LA-HT.
