Resolution RF245Wireless Keychain Transmitter User and Installation Instructions Introduction The RF245 Wireless Keychain Transmitter is a wireless 4-button transmitter for security system control. Typical use of this device is for arming and disarming the system, as well as control of lights and other devices. The transmitter's button layout is shown in Figure 1. Figure 1: RF245 Button Layout In order to eliminate the possibility of false activations, buttons on the transmitter must be pressed for at least ½ second before the transmitter activates. Successful activation of the transmitter is indicated by a short, bright LED flash. The Wireless Keychain Transmitter uses a small alkaline battery, designed to provide long battery life. Transmitter Programming Each RF245 Wireless Keychain Transmitter is shipped with a unique serial number pre-programmed into the transmitter. Upon installation, the RF245 must be programmed into the security control panel. Each button on the RF245 may be programmed for a different function, or “loop”, on the control panel. The control panel's documentation should be consulted for full instructions. Specifications Dimensions: 1.3 x 2.35 x 0.5” RF transmission frequency: 345MHz Operating Temperature: 10º to 120ºF (-12º to 49ºC) Battery Type: 27A 12V alkaline FCC Notice This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: 1.This device may not cause harmful interference. 2.This device must accept any interference that may be received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
