The requirements of FCC 15.212 are met. The following requirements are fulfilled; 1. The modular transmitter must have its own RF shielding The radio portion of the module is contained in its own RF shielding. See the attached photos. 2. The modular transmitter must have buffered modulaHon/data inputs There is a microprocessor on the board that collects the information from the digital data colledion module and sends this stream to the RF transmitter. 3. The modular transmitter must have its own power suppty regutaflon The board used in this module includes its own 1,8 volt regulator on the main processor for regulating the powe. to the transmitter so regulation js not a problem. 4. The modular transmitter must comply with the antenna requirements of Sectlon 15.203 The antenna is permanently soldered to the EUT. 5. The modular transmitter must be tested in a stand-alone conflguration The EI.JT was tested in a stand-alone configuration. The controller board that jt is connected to is for collection of data only. 6. The modular transmitter must be labeled with its own FCC ID number The EUT will be labeled with its own FCC ID number. If the module is installed inside of an end-product, the label will not be visible. In this case the OEM customer will be instructed to how to apply the exterior label. 7. The modular transmitter must comply with any specific .ule or operating requlrements applicable to the transmitter and the manufacturer must provide adequate instructions along with the module to explain any such requirements, The EUT is compliant with all applicable FCC rules. Detail instructions are given in the Users Guide. COMPATIBLE ELECIROII'CS Armen Kazanchian President RF Digital Corporation NDA DRIV', . EA. CALIFORNIA 9282.1 . (714) 579_0500. IAX (714) 579_lfso 8. SAR TEST EXCLUSION This device, FCC ID: UYI25, is excluded from SAR testing by the following justification. The maximum power that the transmitter IC is capable of is 2.5 mW. By using the following formula from section 4.3.1 of KDB 447498: [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)]*[√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0 for 1-g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR and using the minimum test separation distance of 5 mm, the resulting calculated SAR value is: (2.5 mW)/5 mm) * (√2.48 GHz) = 0.79 This value is below the exclusion threshold for both the 1-g SAR and 10-g extremity SAR requirements.

HOW THE EUT MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF 15.31 (e) FOR THE RF DIGITAL CORPORATION RF MODULE, MODEL: R25 The fundamental was maximized on the Lab B test site using a normal test setup with the programming board that the EUT was connected to being connected to the AC public mains (115 Vac). Next, the AC power for the programming board was connected to the Staco Energy Products Variable Auto Transformer Model: 3PN1010. The Variable Auto Transformer allows the Vac input to be varied. The AC input was then dropped to 85% (97.75 Vac) and raised to 115% (132.25 Vac). The actual AC input was measured using a calibrated Fluke Multimeter Model: 87, Serial Number: 58450372, Calibration Due Date: June 3, 2014. The fundamental was then verified again to see that the amplitude did not change. Test Result: The EUT does NOT change amplitude at the fundamental when the AC input voltage is varied between 85% and 115% of the input nominal rated supply voltage.
