User’s Manual 240240 2.4GHz Wireless TV Box Contents Contents 27 Precautions 7. Precautions 7.1 Normal phenomenon Interruption appears while moving. Please move to a fixed place to watch. As adopting RF control technic, there will be momentary interruption in the picture when using remote control. The transmission distance varies according to the surroundings; the distance of ordinary house is about 10-20 meters. But if the wall is of iron and concrete, it will largely muffle the signal (can not receive signal or shorten receiving distance) 7.2 Using precautions 2.4GHz domestic appliance (such as micro oven, 2.4GHz cordless phone, Bluetooth earphone, or 802.11b/g wireless network) may affect the quality of receiving even cause no signals receiving. If affected by micro oven, the receiver should be put far from it. As for other interruptions, you can reset the signal channel of the transmitter and receiver. The transmitter should be put on a higher place to get better transmission effect when there is no obstacle around the transmitting antenna, thereby the transmission distance will become longer. It can also reduce the interruption from our moving when the receiver is placed higher. 1 Introduction Combining 2.4GHz wireless technic and USB TV box technic, UTV240 is known as a Hi-Tech product. Operational Description

Circuit Description This passage is mainly on how TXV2408 wireless A/V transmitter works and is divided into two parts: The first part is on 2.4GHz A/V transmission: There are two kinds of signals input, one is AV signals from cable TV demodulated by the tuner and the intermediate frequency amplifier.The other is AV signal from external signal source. The two signals are transmitted to 2.4GHz transmitting module to demodulate via CD4053 which is controlled by MCU EM78P447 and then emitted. The second part is 433MHz ASK signal receiving: when ASK signal is received by 433MHz receiving module of TXV2408, it will directly transmitted to MCU EM78P447 to decode into IR data. Then the IR data will be transmitted to IR emitting tube to convert into IR signal and then transmitted to signal source device.
