BLUETOOTH MODULE INSTALLATION GUIDE Bluetooth wireless technology is a low-power consuming way to communicate between devices. It has a maximum range of 30 feet (10m). The Bluetooth device connects to your printerâs serial port and confirms to V2.1+EDR of the Bluetooth specification. Installing the Bluetooth Device to the Printer Please follow the steps below to install the Bluetooth device. 1.Turn off the printer power. 2.Plug in the Bluetooth device into the RS-232 port. 3.Fasten the device by two screws. Setting the Communication Settings For industrial printer, the RS-232 communication parameters can be configured from the LCD control panel by the following procedures. 1.Turn on the printer power. 2.Enter the main menu. 3.Select âSerial Comm.â option. 4.Make sure the communication parameters are set to 115200 bps baud rate, None parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit. For desktop printer models, the RS-232 communication parameters can be setup by following command or using Diagnostic Tool.
