FCC ID: W89-SMARTKID-27 Model: 8801-1 Technical Description of Transmitter The transmitter operates at 27.145 MHz, and controls a receiver to move forward, backward, left turn and right turn. The circuit of the transmitter comprises of, 1. An RF Oscillator Consisting: Y1 (27.145MHz) 2. RF Amplifier and Modulator Consisting: Q1, Q2 3. Encoder Consisting: IC1 (SCTX2BS) 4. Filter Consisting: L1, C1 5. Power Supply Consisting: Two 1.5V βAAβ batteries 6. Charging part Consisting: Q3, Q4, Q5 The transmitter uses an external, dedicated. The nominal rated field strength is 67.1dBuV/m @ 3m Production tolerance of field strength is +/- 3dB Antenna gain is 0dBi
Analysis Report Report No.: 13061008HKG-001 The Equipment Under Test (EUT) is a portable transmitter of a RC Car operating at 27.145 MHz as dictated by a crystal. The EUT is powered by a 3.0 V DC source (2 x 1.5V βAAβ batteries). The EUT has 4 control buttons to control the RC car left, right, forward and backward. And it has a charging port to charge the rechargeable battery for the RC car. After switching ON the EUT and the receiver of the RC Car, activating the control levers on the EUT can control the receiver moving forward, backward, left or right. Antenna Type: External, dedicated Antenna Gain: 0dBi Nominal rated field strength: 67.1dBΞΌV/m at 3m Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance: +/- 3dB According to the KDB 447498: Based on the Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance was 70.1dBΞΌV/m at 3m in frequency 27.145MHz, thus; The EIRP = [(FS*D) ^2*1000 / 30] = 0.0031mW Conducted power = Radiated Power (EIRP) β Antenna Gain So; Conducted Power = 0.0031mW. The SAR Exclusion Threshold Level for 27.145MHz when the minimum test separation distance is < 50mm: = [474 * (1 + log100/f(MHz))]/2 = 371.2mW Since the above conducted output power is well below the SAR Exclusion threshold level, so the EUT is considered to comply with SAR requirement without testing.
