Users Manual

BATTERY WARNING β€’ Do not mix battery types. β€’ Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries. β€’ Do not mix old & new batteries. β€’ The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. β€’ Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. β€’ Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. β€’ Remove batteries when not in use. β€’ Recycle or dispose of exhausted batteries according to federal, state or local Iaws. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS β€’ Adult supervision is recommended at all times. β€’ Do not operate during thunderstorms or rain. β€’ Avoid water, sand and snow when operating your vehicle. β€’ Do not submerge vehicle or transmitter in water. β€’ Never operate your vehicle on the street or highway. β€’ Do not use your vehicle near transmitter with the same frequency. β€’ Avoid high-impact collisions with people and objects. β€’ Keep this Instruction Manual for future reference as it contains important information. Operation 1. Extend the transmitter's antenna for better signal reception. Move the ON/OFF switch on the Racer to ON, and place it on the ground. ON/OFF SWITCH 2. The transmitter is full- function: (1) The signal indicator lights up when any button on the transmitter is pressed. (2) The Racer runs forward and lights up its headlights when the transmitter's forward button is pressed. The Racer reverses when the transmitter's reverse button is pressed. (3) Pressing the left/right button on the transmitter while the Racer is running forward or in reverse, the Racer will make a left/right turn. Signal Indicator Forward Left turn Reverse Right turn Directional Control 3. If the Racer veers too much to the left (L) or right (R), adjust the Directional Control toward the opposite direction. This will help the wheels align and your Racer to run more straight. Preparation Insert and tighten the antenna on the transmitter as illustrated. Slide the transmitter's battery compartment cover towards the direction shown to open it. Insert 2 x "AA" batteries with the correct polarity, then replace the battery compartment cover. Operational Description

FCC ID: W89-SMARTKID-49R Model: 8801-1 (Receiver portion) Technical Description of Receiver The receiver operates at 49.860 MHz, and controls by the corresponding transmitter to move forward, backward, left and right. The circuit of the receiver comprises of, 1. Super-regenerative circuit Consisting: L2, C2, C1, L1 ,Q6 2. Decoder Consisting: IC1 (SCDRX2DS) 3. Drive Motor Circuit Consisting: Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, Q7, Q9, Q10 4. A Power Supply Consisting: 1 x 1.2V rechargeable batteries The receiver uses an internal and integral antenna.
