GT LITE OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION Overview : The Lite provides local control for remote installations. The device communicates over public GSM networks to internet software. It provides position information via GPS and local wireless control of local networks via ZigBee. Operational : When the device is turned on, it will initialize all external periphery of the main CPU that is located within the GSM module. The device will then monitor these periphery, temperature, motion, and location via GPS receiver. It can also create ad hoc networks utilizing the ZigBee protocol and on-board ZigBee module. At a user defined reporting interval a message will be sent over the GSM network that interfaces with internet software for user view. If the GSM network is not available the unit will try and transmit via satellite using a provided module. All modules are used within the manufacturer’s guidelines and the only added antenna is for the GSM module, we use a PTCRB certified antenna.
