1) How does this device operate? Playing DVD and powered from Car Cigarette lighter.. 2) Provide information on the device and its antenna. The transmitter’s antenna is a copper wire which length is about 35cm, this is permanently attached antenna and meets the requirements of the section. 3) How is it installed? The EUT will direct plug into IPod unique connector. And power by 12Vdc Car Power. 4) What test procedure was used? Operating condition is according to ANSI C63.4-2003 5) If tested in a car, how was it configured/tested? N/A 6) Was the tuning range properly verified? The test lab should indicate in the report that the tuning controls were manually adjusted to verify maximum tuning range. EUT was adjusted to work at the selected channels: 88.1 MHz, 89.7 MHz, and 91.1 MHz. The EUT will not allow operation below 88.1 MHz and will not allow operation above 91.1 MHz. 7) Was the bandwidth properly tested with maximum audio input? Emissions from the intentional radiator shall be confined within a band 200 kHz wide centered on the operation frequency. The 200 kHz band shall lie wholly within the frequency range of 88 – 108 MHz. Setup the EUT and simulators as shown in the report. Enable RF signal and confirm EUT active. Modulate output capacity of EUT up to specifications. 8) Provide the test report. Antenna
Applicant:Lightcomm Technology Co., Ltd. FCC ID:XMF-F902TX Operation Description FM transmission is achieved by MTK IC MT1389P to control ROHM IC BH1411 via interface I2C. Its working voltage is 3.3 V. Oscillator frequency is 16 MHz. There are 16 frequencies of transmission. IC BH1411 has functions of audio stereo modulation and RF modulation, the RF stability is controlled by internal phase-lock loop circuit. The RF signal is output to match network and bandpass filter and then is transmitted by antenna. The antenna is made of copper wire which length is about 35cm. Common grounding on PCB is not connected to real external ground. Power supply is DC 12V.
