Make sure the LifeBeacon â˘is Correctly Positioned in the Charging Cradle with the watch facing front, the SOS Button facing up and the Charging Contacts facing bottom. Improper placement may accidentally activate the SOS Buttonif positioned incorrectly. Proper charging will be indicated by a blue light turning on inside the SOS button. 4. When the LifeBeaconâ˘is fully charged, the watch face will show an image of a filled in battery and a caption saying âCharging OKâ 2. Remove the fully charged LifeBeacon⢠from the Charging Cradle . The operatorâs phone number will display on the watch face when connected and the operator will begin talking directly to you through the LifeBeaconâ˘to ask if you need help and assistance. 5.When Testing, tell the operator you are simply testing and they will confirm a successful test and tell you where you are located if you ask them. 6. During normal every day wear, the LifeBeaconâ˘operates as a digital watch which will display the time and date 2. The LifeBeaconâ˘battery can last up to 48 hours but should be charged on a daily basis (suggested during sleep) to ensure functionality when being worn 3. (âLiveFreeâ) for certification of the above-numbered device. As requested by the Commission staff, LiveFree hereby attests that the LF500 device is only capable of making (or receiving) phone calls from the emergency/GPS tracker call center, and is not capable of being used more generally as a mobile phone device. LiveFree further attests that only GPS coordinates and a very small set of additional data regarding characteristics of the userâs environment (temperature, speed, etc.) is transmitted by the device over GPRS. LiveFree further attests that the intervals at which GPS coordinate reporting occurs are remotely controlled by the tracking information center, not the user, and that the most often that such reporting would occur is once every three minutes.
