WatchGuard Video) is seeking FCC certification for their WiFi based charger for on body camera, Model Name WFB2. Element Materials Technology has been authorized to carry out the submittal and certification process. WFB2 contains a Texas Instruments WL1837MOD, 2.4-GHz/5 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Module. The WFB2 uses only 2.4 GHz WiFi in the device. 5 GHz and Bluetooth are disabled and not functional. The module does not have a built-in antenna. We are seeking FCC approval using an off the shelf antenna under applicable rules of 47 CFR 15.247. The FCC ID will be YJV-VST500. WFB2 is functionally equivalent to WFB1 (FCC ID: YJV-VST300) with the addition of 802.11b modulation. The test report from the FCC ID: YJV-VST300 filing is submitted to support this application.
