Technical Description of Transmitter The circuit of the transmitter comprises of 1. An Encoding circuit Consisting: U1 2. A RF Oscillator (49.860MHz) Consisting: Y1 3. Matching Circuit Consisting: L2, L3, L4, C14, C15 4. A RF Modulator and Amplifier Consisting: Q1, Q2 5. A Power Supply Consisting: 2 x AAA size batteries Type of antenna: External Integral antenna Type of modulation: Pulse modulation The nominal rated field strength is 96.0dBμV/m @ 3m Production tolerance of field strength is +3dB / -18dB Antenna gain is 0dBi

Analysis Report Report No.: HK13020622-1 The Equipment Under Test (EUT) is a portable transmitter of a RC Car operating at 49.860 MHz as dictated by a crystal. The EUT is powered by a 3.0 V DC source (2 x 1.5V AAA battery). The EUT has a left / right control lever and a forward / backward control lever. After switching ON the EUT and the receiver of the RC Car, activating the control levers on the EUT can control the receiver moving forward, backward left and right directions. Antenna Type: External integral antenna Antenna Gain: 0dBi Nominal rated field strength: 96.0dBμV/m at 3m Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance: +3dB and -18dB According to the KDB 447498: Based on the Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance was 99.0dBμV/m at 3m in frequency 49.860MHz, thus; The EIRP = [(FS*D) ^2*1000 / 30] = 2.38mW Thus; Conducted power = Radiated Power (EIRP) – Antenna Gain So; Conducted Power = 2.38mW. The SAR Exclusion Threshold Level for 49.860MHz when the minimum test separation distance is < 50mm: = [474 * (1 + log100/f(MHz))]/2 = 308.6mW Since the above conducted output power is well below the SAR Exclusion Threshold level, so the EUT is considered to comply with SAR requirement without testing.
