The FCC ID: Z4D173503 does not provide a shield and therefore was evaluated for radiated and power line conducted emissions while integrated inside of a representative host. Physical components and tuning capacitor(s) may be located external to the shield, but must be on the module assembly; The module does not have its own shielding. ii. The module must have buffered modulation/data inputs to ensure that the device will comply with Part 15 requirements with any type of input signal; The module contains buffered modulation / data inputs. iii. The module must contain power supply regulation on the module; The module contains its own power supply regulation. iv. The module must contain a permanently attached antenna, or contain a unique antenna connector, and be marketed and operated only with specific antenna(s), per Sections 15.203, 15.204(b), 15.204(c), 15.212(a), 2.929(b); The module contains a permanently attached antenna. v. The module must demonstrate compliance in a stand-alone configuration; The module was not tested as a stand-alone for power line conducted emissions and radiated emissions. A FAIR- RITE model 0431173951 ferrite was used to reduce the emissions for these cables. The EUT was evaluated for radiated, power line and RF conducted emissions for all modes of operations. Preliminary evaluation was performed to determine the worst case data rate configuration for each mode based on RF output power measurement. Where applicable, the results are provided for the worst case, based on the RF output power measurements.. The equipment is designed to be integrated inside specific hosts. The radiated and power line conducted emissions evaluations was performed with the equipment integrated inside of a slow cooker, as described in this document. The digital circuit of the slow cooker was in the idle state during the evaluation.
