Battery Compartment FX MIC INSTRUCTION MANUAL Please read this guide carefully before you use the microphone. BEFORE YOU PLAY INSTALL BATTERIES Always ask an adult to install batteries. This product uses 3 size AAA (1.5 V) batteries (included). The battery compartment is located on the back of the product. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to open the compartment door. Install batteries according to image inside of compartment. Negative (–) and positive (+) ends of each battery must be installed correctly, or an electrical hazard and/or damage to the product could result. Close compartment door and tighten screw to secure. Note: If the batteries wear out, the product’s sound may deteriorate. If you are not going to play for a long time, remove the batteries from the product. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. ACTIVATE MICROPHONE IMPORTANT: Before normal use, you must take microphone out of DEMO mode. Move DEMO/PLAY switch on back of microphone to PLAY. (Note: Microphone will now be on. ROBOT-RIFFIC Tap one accessory to target zone, then tap another accessory to the target zone and sing into the mic for ROBOT-RIFFIC effect. You do not have to tap a second accessory immediately. As long as you don’t press MIC, or turn the mic off, the ROBOT-RIFFIC effect will start whenever you tap the second accessory. If you want to switch between effects without starting ROBOT- RIFFIC, be sure to press MIC in between. MIC BUTTON Press the MIC button to change back to normal voice boost mode. MP3 INPUT Plug your MP3 player into the MP3 INPUT and sing along to your favorite songs. Adjust the volume on your MP3 player to your liking. ZOMBIE-ZONE Tap top of rock ring to target zone and sing into the mic for ZOMBIE-ZONE voice effect.
