WARNING • Turn off electricity at main fuse box (or circuit breaker box) before beginning installation by removing fuse (or switching off circuit breaker). • Be careful not to damage or cut the wire insulation (covering) during fixture installation. Do not permit wires to contact any surface having a sharp edge. To do so may damage or cut the wire insulation, which could cause serious injury or death from electric shock. • LED electronics can be damaged by electro static discharge (ESD)shock. Before installation, discharge yourself by touching a grounded bare metal surface to remove this hazard. To avoid damage, do not touch the LED module. CAUTION • All electrical connections must be in agreement with local codes, ordinances or the national electric code (NEC). Contact your municipal building department to learn about your local codes, permits and/or inspections. • Risk of fire – most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated for 140°F/60ºC. Consult a qualified electrician before installation. • Do not connect this fixture to an electrical system that does not provide a means for equipment grounding. Never use a fixture in a two-wire system that is not grounded. If you are not sure your lighting system has a grounding means, do not attempt to install this fixture. Contact a qualified, licensed electrician for information with regards to proper grounding methods as required by the local electrical code in your area. Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box. 1. Attach two short screws (CC) to the holes on the mounting strap (AA). Thread them in part way: 2 to 3 turns only. 3. Connect fixture black wire to house black wire and fixture white wire to house white wire using wire connectors (DD) provided. Connect the copper wire or green/yellow wire on the light fixture to the mounting strap (AA) by securing it with the preinstalled grounding screw, then connect it to the house grounding wire with wire connectors (DD). Tuck all the wires into outlet box. AA CC 1 2. Attach the mounting strap (AA) to the outlet box using two mounting screws (BB). 4 . Remove the insulated paper before installing the fixture. Page 2 of 6 200713 2 AA BB Insulated Paper 4 Before beginning assembly, installation or operation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and diagram on previous page. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the product. Contact customer service for replacement parts. Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Screwdriver, Phillips Screwdriver, Pliers, Electrical Tape, Wire Cutters, Safety Glasses, Ladder. This fixture is dimmable with a forward phase electronic dimmer. Dimmers tested to be compatible with this fixture are the Lutron: TGCL-153PH, MACL-153MH, SCL-153P, DVWCL-153PH. If you are unfamiliar with electrical installation, it is recommended to use a qualified electrician for your installation(s). Attach the plastic shade (B) to the ceiling pan (A) by aligning studs and slots, then turn it clockwise until it is locked in place. Stud A 6 Slot B ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (continued) 5. Attach the ceiling pan(A) to the monnting strap (AA) by inserting two screw (CC) heads into the key holes and rotate the ceiling pan (A) until it is locked in place. Then secure the screws tightly. A 5 CC CHANGING BATTERIES Replacing Battery Steps 1. Remove the battery cover from the fixture with screwdriver. 2. Replace the old battery with a new battery 7188BB. 3. Re-attach the battery cover to the fixture with screwdriver. 8 Battery Cover Battery Fixture Adjus�ng the color Temperature of the Light Customizing the color temperature of LED light by moving toggle switch. 7-a7-b View Fig.1-b a. Move the toggle switch to 3000K, the color temperature is set at 3000K. b. Move the toggle switch to 4000K, the color temperature is set at 4000K. c. Move the toggle switch to 5000K, the color temperature is set at 5000K. Notice: Please move the toggle switch to make your selection before attaching plastic shade (B) to the ceiling pan (A). A B Color Temperature Toggle Switch OPERATING THE DOWNLIGHT AND BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS Bluetooth Connection Steps: 1. Once turn on power , t he Bluet ooth Speakers a re enabled and r eady to c onn ect. 2. Enabl e Bluet ooth on your smart device. 3. Wai t for the smart dev ic e to detect the ceiling light and then select it to pa ir the device t o the speakers. When suc cessful ly pa ir ed, the speaker will response "Connected". 4. Pla y mus ic fr om your device while conn ected to the ceiling light to enjoy soun d from the Bluet ooth speakers. 5. Disconnect the ceiling light from Bluet ooth on your smart de vice, or di sab le Bluet ooth functiona lity on your smart device when soun d is not w an ted from t he ceiling light speakers. NOTICE: 1. Bluetooth enabled smart devices typically have a range of approximately 33 ft. (10 m). Attempting to pair your smart device to the Bluetooth speakers beyond the intended range can result in poor audio quality, drop-outs, or failure to connect. 2. Only one device can be connected to the Bluetooth speakers at a time. 3. The speaker includes a battery (18650 type 2000mAh).
