Models IT-75 : ISOtunes ULTR ACOMM Aware IT-76 : ISOtunes ULTR ACOMM Aware EN 352 Full manual can be found at ISOtunes.com/manuals. Introduction Thank you for purchasing ISOtunes® ULTR ACOMM Aware True Wireless Noise-Isolating Earbuds. These earbuds are specifically designed for use in noisy environments – allowing you to block out much of the surrounding noise so you can listen to your music or talk on the phone with less interruption. Fitting 1. Carefully roll the foam eartip on the stem/sound port (Fig. 1). 2. Insert the eartip into your ear as deeply as comfortable (Fig. 2). 3. Slightly rotate earbud until it is secure in the bowl of your ear (Fig. 3). 4. Make the earbud rest tightly next to your inner ear edge. 5. Gently wrap the comfort-fit earhooks around the top and back of your ears. Power On/Off Method 1 • Power ON: Open charging case • Power OFF: Place earbuds into charging case and close the lid Method 2 • Power ON: In OFF mode, press and hold multi-function button (MFB) for 3 seconds • Power OFF: In ON mode, press and hold multi-function button (MFB) for 3 seconds Bluetooth® Pairing After powering on, the earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth Pairing Mode. Look for quick red and blue flashes from the earbud as a confirmation. Open the Bluetooth® settings on your device. Search for “ISOtunes ULTR ACOMM Aware.” Pair and connect. You will hear “Bluetooth Connected” once connected. Phone Calls Each earbud contains a built-in microphone for making phone calls. For enhanced voice clarity, consider using the included configurable boom microphone. Open the microphone port cover on either earbud by pulling up the exposed tab. Then, align the arrow on the earbud with the arrow on the boom microphone. Insert the audio jack into the earbud, pressing firmly to ensure that it ’s fully seated. Remove the boom microphone and store in the lid of the charging case when not in use. Charging There are three batteries to charge: 1. Charging Case Battery 2. Left Earbud Battery 3. Right Earbud Battery Charging the Case Insert USB-C charging cable to charge the case. The charging case battery indicator light will start flashing to indicate charge level. Charging the Earbuds Place earbuds into the charging case. The earbuds’ indicator light should be solid red, indicating that the earbuds are charging. Only charge your ISOtunes ULTR ACOMM Aware with a maximum 5 Volt charger. Using a charger higher than 5 Volts could be dangerous and may damage your ISOtunes product. Be especially careful with “quick charge” or “turbo charge” chargers, which often supply 9, 12, or 15 Volts. Noise Attenuation This product has been tested to the European Safety Standard EN352-2:2020 and the ANSI S3.19-1974 standard for a hearing protector with a Single Number Rating (SNR) of 32 dB and a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 24 dB. Full testing details are available on page 2 of this booklet. ANSI S3.19-1974 The level of noise entering a person’s ear, when ISOtunes® ULTR ACOMM Aware earbuds are worn as directed, is closely approximated by the difference between the A-weighted environmental noise level and the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR). Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Consult the enclosed instructions for proper fitting. A1: Frequency (Hz) A2: Mean Attenuation (dB) A3: Standard Deviation (dB) Example: 1. The surrounding noise level measured at the ear is 100 dB. 2. The NRR of ISOtunes® ULTR ACOMM Aware is 24 dB. 3. The noise level entering the ear is approximately equal to 76 dB. Please note that the NRR is based on the attenuation of continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator of the protection attainable against impulsive noise, such as gunfire. EN 352 B1: Frequency (Hz) B2: Mean Attenuation (dB) B3: Standard Deviation (dB) B4: Assumed Protection Value (APV) (dB) H = Hearing protection estimation for high frequency sounds (f ≥ 2000Hz) M = Hearing protection estimation for medium frequency sounds (500Hz < f < 2000Hz) L = Hearing protection estimation for low frequency sounds (f ≤ 500Hz) SafeMax™ Technology ISOtunes® ULTR ACOMM Aware incorporates SafeMax™ Technology; therefore, its volume output is limited to 85 decibels (IT-75), or 79 decibels (IT-76). ISOtunes® devices with SafeMax™ Technology are ANSI tested and OSHA compliant. Aware™ Technology When utilizing the boom mic and listening to music, Aware Technology will remain useable and active, based on the user’s adjustment. Once a call is taken or the earbuds are connected to a communication device, Aware Technology will turn off. As this device is focused on use in loud environments, this feature is meant to allow the user to hear the digital communication via earbud more clearly. ULTR ACOMM Aware has 4 levels of Aware: • High • Medium • Low • Off The levels are changed by tapping the left earbud on the top of the center panel. Increase the volume by tapping once, or decrease the volume by tapping twice. A single beep means that the level has successfully been raised/ lowered. A double beep means that the highest or lowest Aware level has been reached. Cleaning and Maintenance • Clean your ISOtunes ULTR ACOMM Aware by gently wiping them with a clean, damp cloth with mild soap. • Do not immerse the earbuds in water. • Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the ear…

RADIATED EMISSION 10.1. MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE 1. The EUT was placed on the top of the turntable 0.8 or 1.5 meter above ground. The phase center of the receiving antenna mounted on the top of a height-variable antenna tower was placed 3 meters far away from the turntable. 2. Power on the EUT and all the supporting units. The turntable was rotated by 360 degrees to determine the position of the highest radiation. 3. The height of the broadband receiving antenna was varied between one meter and four meters above ground to find the maximum emissions field strength of both horizontal and vertical polarization. 4. For each suspected emission, the antenna tower was scan (from 1 M to 4 M) and then the turntable was rotated (from 0 degree to 360 degrees) to find the maximum reading. 5. Set the test-receiver system to Peak or CISPR quasi-peak Detect Function with specified bandwidth under Maximum Hold Mode. 6. For emissions above 1GHz, use 1MHz RBW and 3MHz VBW for peak reading. Place the measurement antenna away from each area of the EUT determined to be a source of emissions at the specified measurement distance, while keeping the measurement antenna aimed at the source of emissions at each frequency of significant emissions, with polarization oriented for maximum response. The measurement antenna may have to be higher or lower than the EUT, depending on the radiation pattern of the emission and staying aimed at the emission source for receiving the maximum signal. The final measurement antenna elevation shall be that which maximizes the emissions. The measurement antenna elevation for maximum emissions shall be restricted to a range of heights of from 1 m to 4 m above the ground or reference ground plane. 7. When the radiated emissions limits are expressed in terms of the average value of the emissions, and pulsed operation is employed, the measurement field strength shall be determined by averaging over one complete pulse train, including blanking intervals, as long as the pulse train does not exceed 0.1 seconds. As an alternative (provided the transmitter operates for longer than 0.1 seconds) or in cases where the pulse train exceeds 0.1 seconds, the measured field strength shall be determined from t…
