The remote control consists of two separate parts: a transmitter and a receiver, which must be used together. The figures below are for illustrative purpose only.  Transmitter ① Indicator Blinks once when you press a button. ② Button Used to open or close the barrier. ③ Toggle switch 2  Receiver ① Cable connector ② Learning mode button  Long press to restore factory defaults;  Used to pair with the transmitter (see 4 Pairing for details). ③ Indicator  Steady on: Normal.  Blinks once: Entering the pairing mode (the indicator will then blink rapidly when the pairing is full).  Blinks twice: Restored to factory defaults. 3 Install the Receiver The receiver can be installed on the middle pedestal or the right pedestal. It is recommended to install the receiver on the side close to the control board on the gate. Before installation, please make sure the installation position and holes (see 0 Product Overview for details) have been reserved on the gate panel to be installed. The following takes the installation on the OFG8501 series swing barrier as an example. The installation steps may vary with the gate model. WARNING! Please make sure the gate is disconnected from power before installation. 1. Remove the 4 hex bolts under the top cover, and then detach the top cover. 3 2. Remove the 2 screws on the panel cover, and then detach the panel cover. 3. Remove the 3 screws on the fixing panel, and then detach the panel. 4. Fix the receiver onto the panel with one screw. 5. Connect the larger end of the supplied cable to the REMOTE port on the gate’s control board (see the silkscreen on the control board). Lead the other end from the inside of the gate through the hole on the panel (see the figure below), and then connect the cable to the connector on the receiver. 6. Reinstall the panel, panel’s top cover, and gate’s top cover back in place in sequence. 4 4 Pairing One receiver can be paired with up to 32 transmitters. 1. After installing the receiver, power up the gate. 2. Press the learning mode button once. The indicator will blink once and the receiver will enter the paring mode. NOTE! If more than one receiver is in the pairing mode at the same time, a transmitter can be paired with multiple receivers simultaneously. 3. Press and hold the two buttons on the transmitter simultaneously. When the receiver’s indicator blinks 5 times rapidly, release the button to complete the pairing and exit the pairing mode. 4. To pair with multiple transmitters, repeat the steps above. 5 How to Use Transmitter The transmitter supports two operating modes: Momentary mode and remain open mode. To switch the operating mode, you need to slide down the rear cover of the transmitter, and then use the toggle to switch.  Momentary mode: Toggle the switch up. Press either button on the transmitter to open the barrier. The barrier will close automatically after a person passes through.  Remain open mode: Toggle the switch down. Press the upper or lower button on the transmitter (which cannot be the same as the last button used) to open the barrier.
