The installation method may vary with scenarios. 3 1. Determine the position of the 86*86mm junction box (user-supplied or purchased separately): Use the existing junction box embedded in the wall or drill a hole to embed one. The two installation holes on the box should be parallel to the ground during installation. 2. Keep the four legs of the wall mount bracket facing outward and upward, align the holes on the bracket with the installation holes on the junction box, and then secure the bracket by tightening the round head cross screws. 3. Connect the power cable and network cable to the rear panel correctly (see Structure and Cable for details). 4. Fix the indoor station and bracket: Align the slots on the indoor station with the four legs of the bracket and install the indoor station. 4 Startup After the indoor station is installed properly, connect one end of the power adapter (user- supplied or purchased separately) to the power interface and the other end to the mains supply, and then start it up. The display screen lights up, and live video is displayed on the screen when it is started successfully. 5 Network Settings You can configure network settings on the Web interface or on the display screen. 4 5.1 On the Display Screen 1. Go to Settings > Activation Config > Enter project password, enter the default password (123456). 2. Select Indoor Station on the left, and then complete the network settings. If a DHCP server is deployed in your network, an IP address may be dynamically assigned to the indoor station, and you need to log in with the actual IP address. 3. Tap Apply. 5.2 On the Web Interface You can log in to the Web interface to manage and maintain the indoor station after it is started successfully. 1. Open your Internet Explorer (IE 9 or later), enter the IP address (192.168.1.13 by default) of your indoor station in the address bar and then press Enter to open the login page. 2. Enter the username and password (admin/123456 by default) and then click Login. NOTE! • DHCP is enabled by default. If a DHCP server is used in your network, your indoor station may be assigned an IP address, and you need to use the assigned IP address to log in. • The default password is intended only for your first login. To ensure security, please change the password after your first login. You are strongly recommended to set a strong password of at least nine characters including all three elements: digits, uppercase and lowercase letters and special characters. If the password has been changed, use the new password to log in. 3. Go to Setup > Common > Wired Network, and then complete the network settings. 4.
