The EUT is powered by 4.5V d.c. (3 x 1.5V “AA” battery). There is a switch (3 channels selector) inside the battery compartment. The remote sensor has a low battery indicator. When the voltage is low, the indicator will repeatedly flashes twice in 30 seconds. During normal use, the duration of each transmission is 0.47s and the silent period between transmissions is 29.625 seconds. It complies with the silent period between transmissions requirement at least 30 times the duration of transmission but in no case less than 10 seconds.
