The EUT is powered by 6.0V d.c. (4 x βAAβ size batteries). To begin communication, visitors should press [BELL] button at the EUT to sent a door chime and wait for reply from Indoor Unit. Once there is reply from Indoor Unit the linkage is confirmed and both visitor and Indoor User can talk to each other by pressing [TALK] key at the EUT and [TALK TO BELL] key at the Indoor Unit. There are three switches for channel selection, Volume Selection and Tone selection inside battery compartment. T he antenna is an integral part of the transmitter.
