All equipment shall be considered to operate in a “general population/uncontrolled” environment. Applications for equipment authorization of devices operating under this section must contain a statement confirming compliance with these requirements for both fundamental emissions and unwanted emissions. Technical information showing the basis for this statement must be submitted to the Commission upon request. Demonstration of Compliance: The SN999CSEQ is classified as a mobile device, which is installed so that a minimum separation distance of 20 centimeters is maintained between the transmitter’s radiating structure and the body of the user or nearby persons, and the ERP of the SN99CSEQ is less than 3 watts. Therefore, the SN99CSEQ is categorically excluded from routine environmental evaluation for RF exposure as per ' 2.1091(c). The installation manual contains the following statement to instruct the installer that the 20 centimeter separation distance must be maintained in order to comply with the RF exposure requirement. Warning: Note to installers: In order to comply with the FCC RF exposure requirements the ZT must be installed with a minimum separation distance of 20 cm from the antennas to the user or nearby persons. The user carries a wireless PS that allows the user access to the PBX functions from any location within the coverage area.
