OBSERVERdetects when a baby cries, then activates a red light on top of the unit and sends an alarm signal wirelessly to the PUZZLEsystem’s receivers. There is also a button on top of the unit that lets you use OBSERVERas a pager. OBSERVERsends one alarm pattern when the baby cries and a different alarm pattern when used as a pager. (See6afor instructions on removing battery compartment door). When receiving false alarms, turn the control one step toward 0. O BSERVER does not react to either the baby crying or pushing the pager button • Check that the unit is turned on. See2 . • Check that the batteries are correctly placed in the battery chamber. See 6b . • Change the batteries in O BSERVER . See 6aand6b . OBSERVERreacts to baby’s cries and to pressing the pager button, but none or only some of the P UZZLE system’s receivers give a signal • Check that the personal code on OBSERVERand the PUZZLE system’s receivers are the same.
