INNCOM TXR RF Module Datasheet Overview The INNCOM TXR series of embedded RF radio modules provides INNCOM products with a common radio platform. The TXR RF radios are used in the point to point Layer-1 in-room network and in Layer-2 802.15.4 Zigbee 2006 mesh network topologies at 2.4 GHz. The maximum distance threshold is based on a 95% overall link quality. Outdoor ranges were conducted in a low noise, free air environment. Indoor ranges are for reference. Indoor ranges are impacted by the ambient environmental noise floor, and building construction materials. Regarding the shielding, this is the customer response: As I understand, with a limited modular FCC listing, the host product is sufficient to provide the shielding after the FCC finds the final product in compliance with either a general emissions test, or full product certification. This radio will never be sold as a standalone item or to a third party. It will be installed in only INNCOM products at our factory, and only handled by INNCOM employees. Under normal operating conditions, the antenna is designed to be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions in such a manor to maintain the minimum separation distance.
