There must be an informational insert inside the box (product package) that clearly informs the consumer (buyer/owner) when the radio is transmitting on GMRS frequencies, that operation on GMRS frequencies require an FCC license and such operation is subject to additional rules specified in 47 C.F.R. Part 95. For body worn operation, this phone has been tested and meets the FCC RF exposure guidelines when used with Motorola accessories designated for this product or when used with a belt clip that contains no metal and that positions the handset a minimum of 1.7 cm from the body. Use of other accessories may not ensure compliance with FCC RF exposure guidelines. The reported SAR values are for a maximum duty factor of 50%: Face-held: 0.938 W/kg; Body-worn: 1.08 W/kg.
