American Telecommunications Certification Body Inc. 6731 Whittier Ave, McLean, VA 22101 October 29, 2002 RE: FCC ID: KBRTSTU50 Attention: Mr.Yoshiaki Iwasa / Ms.Yukie Koyama I have a few comments on this Application. 1 ANSI C63.4 states, β€œA typical signal or an unmodulated CW signal at the operating frequency of the EUT shall be supplied to the EUT for all measurements.” Your report is not clear as to the cohering signal used during testing of this receiver. Please clarify the source of the signal. I.e. was it a CW from a signal generator. The support equipment list would tend to say it was the transmitter, but this is not celarly stated. 2 The report indicates that the readings were QP because of the detector type used. Please verify that the radiated emissions data is QP or Peak. 3 Please note that no request for confidentiality was provided. This means that the schematics will not be considered confidential as indicated in the file name. If you wish these to be confidential, please provide a letter requesting confidentialtiy. Dennis Ward mailto:[email protected] The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information may result in application termination. Correspondence should be considered part of the permanent submission and may be viewed from the Internet after a Grant of Equipment Authorization is issued. Please do not respond to this correspondence using the email reply button. In order for your response to be processed expeditiously, you must submit your documents through the AmericanTCB.com website. Also, please note that partial responses increase processing time and should not be submitted. Any questions about the content of this correspondence should be directed to the sender.
