Page 1 of 1 SKT STR-02002U FCC ID: LLIHSCR Operational Description This product is a small remote control transmitter that sends a control code to a receiver located in a camera manufactured by HITRON SYSTEMS INC. There are ten buttons on the product for the purpose of controlling the camera. Section. Primary Function - Remote Controller for the camera manufactured by HITRON. - Indicator (LED) turns on instantaneously when any button on the product is pressed. - Binary FSK modulation is used to transmit the control codes. Section. The Using Of this Remote Controller When any button out of ten on the product is pressed, a control code in accordance with the button is transmitted. REC : Recording,record current image when this button is push down. MENU : Display menu to configure camera options. DISPLAY : Change mode from live view mode to display mode(manual, auto and fast playback modes). Cancel : Escape from current menu mode. ARM / : Toggle between arm and disarm. when arm mode, start recording with an event and arming DISARM : Delay time configured by user in view mode, when disarm mode, stop recording. UP : Scroll up selection of menu items or options in menu mode / playback forward by event unit in display mode DOWN : Scroll down selection of menu items or options in menu mode / playback reverse by event unit in display mode LEFT : Scroll left selection of menu items or options in menu mode / playback reverse by page unit in display mode RIGHT : Scroll right selection of menu items or options in menu mode / playback forward by page unit in display mode SET : Set or select menu items of options in menu mode / Stop playing image in display mode

Description of the Equipment Under Test The EUT is a small remote control transmitter that sends a control code to a receiver located in a camera using the method of the FSK modulation, and has ten buttons for the purpose of controlling the camera manufactured by HITRON SYSTEMS INC. The EUT is manually operated and deactivated automatically within 40msec after pressing any button to transmit the control code. 3.1 Rating and Physical Characteristics Power source 3 X 1.5V (AAA battery) Output Power 5mW under Operating frequency 433.92 MHz Data Rate 2400 bps Operating temperature -20 ~ +60 Etc Binary FSK modulation (deviation 64KHz) 3.2 Equipment Modifications The test sample was programmed to send its activation code repeatedly by using modified firmware which was programmed into the sample’s processor, during the field strength measurements of the fundamental and spurious/harmonic emissions in FCC Section 15.231(b), to permit radiated emission measurements to be readily performed. The radiated data were taken in the peak detector function while the EUT sent its activation code repeatedly. The measurements of the transmission duration, duty cycle and occupied bandwidth were performed in the normal operation at the operating frequency.
