Step 3Changethe time zone to the appropriatesetting. Then clickOK. Step 2The “Login Setup” screen appears.Select anewUser Name andPasswordand type them into the appropriatefields. Make sure to wr ite down this informationas you will need it in the future. Step 5Make sure that either the Coax StatusorEthernetStatus underBroadbandConnection shows that it is CONNECTED. D Connectto Other Computers/SetTop Box Your FiOS Router supports3differenthome networking technologies:Ethernet(Wired),Wireless,andConnectYourFiOS TV Set Top Box(es)(Wired) .Please go to the sectionthat is applicableto you. Before ins talling your new FiOS Route r, you mu stdisconnec tyour old rout er an dall connecteddev ice s,includingthe Moto rol a NIM (if connectedto your ex isting rout er). Don’t forget to remov e all ofth erouter com ponentsincludingpower suppl ies and al l ca bl es be cause they willNOTwork with your new FiOS Router. Step 2Repeat these steps for each computerthat you want to connect to the FiOS Router using Ethernet. Step 1Get anotherEthernet cable (not supplied).Plug one end into one of the openYellow Et hernet Port son the back of the FiOS Router .Plug the other end into the Ethernetport of the next computeryou want to connect. Ethernet(Wired) Step 3Turn the FiOS Router over.You will see asticker that lists the FiOS Router ’s preset ESSID and WEP key. Enter that informationin the wirelesscomputer’swireless settingsand clickSave. Step 2Make sure that the wirelesscomputeruses the same ESSID and WEP key as the FiOS Router .To do this, launch the wirelesscomputer’swirelessapplication. Step 4To make sure that the changeswere enabled,try to surf the Web from the wirelesscomputer. Step 1Make sure that each computerthat you want to connectwirelesslyhas built-in wirelessor an attached wirelessadapter.
