IPX500TC 2 This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and the Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference; and (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Privacy of communications may not be ensured when using this phone. The telephone shall be installed and used such that parts of the user's body other than the hands are maintained at a distance of approximately 20cm( 8 inches) or more. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: – Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. (that is, the antenna for radio or television that is “receiving” the interference). – Reorient or relocate and increase the separation between the telecommunications equipment and Receiver. – Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. If these measures do not eliminate the interference, please consult your dealer or an experienced radio/television technician for additional suggestions. Also, the Federal Communications Commission has prepared a helpful booklet, “How To Identify and Resolve Radio/TV Interference Problems.” This booklet is available from the U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C. 20402. Please specify stock number 004-000-00345-4 when ordering. Warning: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. 3 NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Important Information This product meets the applicable Industry Canada technical specifications. This Class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003. The termination on an interface may consist of any combination of devices subject only to the requirement that the sum of the Ringer Equivalence Numbers of all the devices does not exceed five. Important Information A VoIP phone or IP Phone uses voice over IP (VoIP) technologies for placing and transmitting telephone calls over an IP network instead of the traditional public switched telephone network (PSTN). IP-based telephone service uses control protocols such as the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). Currently most SIP phones in the US market are based on embedded chips, e.g. SiTel and DSPG – their functionality is confined by the feature set of the chip vendor. Telefield can develop new features in software while developing the OS and hardware architectural layers independently and in parallel. Power on IP phone, and connect it to your router/switch/hub/other operational Internet devices at WAN port by Ethernet cable. By default, the unit will get the IP address from the DHCP server. Also it is possible to connect PC to the LAN port, thus PC can be in the same network as the IP phone. After an absolute startup, you can add a SIP account and make/answer a VoIP call. Press Settings > Account System > Add account. Then you can configure IP account Name, User Name, Server and Password. After successful registration, the icon will show in “Green” color. Otherwise it will show in grey color. You may also be able to activate/deactivate the account by pressing the icon once. Press and hold the icon , you are able to edit/delete the account accordingly. In addition, you can activate more than one SIP account on the unit. Take a line at various modes: Handset Mode a. Lift the handset and dial the phone number. (To cor…

RF Exposure Info

INTERTEK TESTING SERVICES FCC ID: MZVIPX-500 RF exposure - 1 of 1 For Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) evaluation of the base unit, the maximum power density at 20 cm from this mobile transmitter shall be less than the General Population / Uncontrolled MPE limit in OET Bulletin 65 and meet the requirement listed in KDB447498. For the 2.4GHz Intelligent Executive Business SIP Phone of tested model: IPX500, the measured powers among all the measured channels were within its production tolerance: -6 dBm (Minimum) and +4 dBm (Maximum). The antenna gain of IPX500 is 3 dBi = 2.00 (num gain) and its maximum source-based time-averaging duty factor is 83.3% (5/6 x100%). From these data and its operating configuration – Mobile device, the exposed power density at a distance (R) of 20cm from the center of radiation of the antenna can be calculated according to OET Bulletin 65 as follow: The Conducted Power = 4 dBm = 2.5 mW The Conducted Power source-based time-averaging output power = (2.5 * 0.833) mW = 2.09 mW The power density at 20cm = 2.09 *2.00/ 4πR 2 = 0.0008 mW cm -2 In the frequency range of 1,500 - 100,000MHz, the MPE limit is 1.0 mWcm -2 for general population and uncontrolled exposure. As the measured power density at 20cm from the transmitter is lower than the MPE limit, the compliance to the MPE limit can be ensured by indicating the minimum 20cm separation between the transmitter's radiating structures and body of the user or nearby persons. The following RF exposure statement is proposed to be included in the user manual: “ FCC RF Radiation Exposure Statement Caution: To maintain compliance with the FCC’s RF exposure guidelines, place the base unit at least 20cm from nearby persons.”
