Operation: Installation The Pendant operates on three 1.5V batteries. The lift of those batteries for standby is approximately 3 years. There are two screws on the back of the transmitter that hold the top and bottom case together. Recommendation: Test your transmitter periodically to ensure that all the batteries are working. If the communication distance or the brightness of alarm LED reduced, please replace all batteries with new one. To replace the Pendant batteries: 1. Undo the two screws on the back of the transmitter. The bottom case will then come off. 2. Take out all the old batteries using a small screwdriver or a pen 3. Place the new batteries in position. 4. Reprogram the device if necessary. 5. Close the battery cover and reinsert two screws. Programming Pendant allows you to activate WR-1 or WR-2 receivers after programming shown below. 1. Press and hold the “SETUP” button of the Receiver unit until the “SETUP” LED lights up. 2. Press the “ALARM” button of Pendant once, the alarm LED will light up (or flash slowly for first setup). 3.Plug the program cable to Base unit and Pendant, LED will quickly flash to indicate connection successfully. 4.Select one of 16 locations in sequence by pressing “SETUP” button (for WR-1, WR-2). 5. Press and hold “SETUP CONFIRM” button to assure. The “SETUP” LED on Base unit will turn off and “ALARM” LED on transmitter will turn off once if installation successfully. 6. Disconnect the program cable; alarm LED of Pendant turn off. 7. Press the “ALARM” button of Pendant once, the corresponded unit LED on Base unit will light up and alarm will hear. 8. Repeat step 2~7 for other Transmitters. Operation In an emergency, you can activate the WR-1 or WR-2 receivers using the Pendant. Press the “ALARM” button once will transmit alarm to receiver for around 2.5 minutes to activate the receivers. To release the alarm on receiver, press the “ALARM RESET” button on the receiver to turn off the alarm sound and corresponded unit LED. FCC Warning Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. Peak Detector Data unless otherwise stated. 2. All measurements were made at 3 meter. Harmonic emissions not detected at the 3-meter distance were measured at 0.3-meter and an inverse proportional extrapolation was performed to compare the signal level to the 3-meter limit. No other harmonic emissions than those reported were detected at a test distance of 0.3-meter. 3. Negative value in the margin column shows emission below limit. 4. Horn antenna and average detector are used for the emission over 1000MHz. *Emission within the restricted band meets the requirement of part 15.205. The corresponding limit as per 15.209 is based on Quasi peak detector data for frequencies below 1000 MHz and average detector data for frequencies over 1000 MHz.
