Operational Description

ENRA-2402X-100 04/25/2007 ISSUE1.00 SPECIFICATION TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION, ENRA-2402X-100-HHU SYSTEM DESCRIPTION The ENRA-2402X-100 board is used in the Remote end of a car starter system and operates at 433.920MHz. 2- 2016, 3V battery powers the board. This is a 4 Button OOK remote. CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION The Q3 and SAW Resonator work as an OOK modulated oscillator. The output of Q2 is matched to 50 ohms by C6, L3, C7, C4, and R7. TX Data is forwarded from U1 Micro PIN 2 to the oscillator. DC Power Control Any switch activation will turn on Q1, a PNP transistor switch. This in turn will activate the Micro (U1) and the oscillator/PA. LED’s LED represent the following: TX transmission, Blue LED LED’s are ON when the micro logic output is HIGH. The bandwidth of the spectrum analyzer was 100 kHz with an appropriate sweep speed. The analyzer was calibrated in dB above a microvolt at the output of the antenna. The resolution bandwidth was 100 kHz and the video bandwidth was 300 kHz. FORMULA OF CONVERSION FACTORS: The field strength at 3m was established by adding the meter reading of the spectrum analyzer (which is set to read in units of dBuV) to the antenna correction factor supplied by the antenna manufacturer. The antenna correction factors are stated in terms of dB. The gain of the preselector was accounted for in the spectrum analyzer meter reading. Example: Freq (MHz) METER READING + C…
