Attestation Statements

Wireless Link Corp. TDM-3100 Statement of Compliance With Electrical Serial Number (ESN) Regulations The Electrical Serial Number (ESN) is encrypted and stored in a non-volatile memory location. A non encrypted version of the ESN is stored in a separate location in the memory. Upon power up the software decrypts the encrypted ESN, using a key known only to Telian, and compares it to the non-encrypted version of ESN. If they do not match, the board sets ESN to all zeros and powers the board down. The ESN is set only by Telian factory and cannot otherwise be altered, transferred or removed. Any attempts to manipulate the ESN will render the phone inoperative.

The EUT was placed in the intended use position, i.e. CENELEC 80 o position. This position is defined by a reference plane and a line. The reference plane of the head is given by three points, the auditory canal opening of both ears and center of the closed mouth. The reference line of the EUT is defined by the line which connects the center of the ear piece with the center of the bottom of the case and lies on the surface of the case facing the phantom. The reference line of the EUT lies in the reference plane of the head. The center of the ear piece of the EUT is place at the entry of the auditory canal.
