To: Federal Communication Commission OET Reference EA98760 FCC ID NVJAR8600B AOR Scanning Receiver The AOR Scanning Receiver cover’s the frequencies of 530 kHz to 2040 MHz. During the testing, the mode of operation was to turn the unit on and let it start scanning. As stated in the exhibit provided by Mr. Taka Nakayama, The 8600B has installed in it a special CPU chip that is strictly designed and programmed only for the US Market. The internal CPU does not contain any cellular frequency table (or data) so that those frequencies will be blocked from the user. Test Report

12/4/00 Exhibit for AOR Scanning Receiver Correspondence # 16772 Cellular Image and Spurious Rejection in Scanning Receivers Measurements were performed on the AOR 8600 Scanning Receiver (SN55102) using the procedure defined on the following pages. A HP 8662A, Marconi 2024 and HP 8903B Audio Analyzer were used for this testing. All Image and Spurious products were attenuated by 43.5 dB, which exceeds the Part 15.121 (b) limit of 38 dB.
