Oct.6.2005 Tune up procedure for DEKO 2119 1. General 1.1. This Procedure is conducted by the customer using RMS SW, on “Parameters and Control “ screen. 2. Procedure 2.1. Connect to unit using RMS (see Manual). 2.2. Chose “Parameters and Control “ screen (see figure 1). 2.3. Set Max Power to the required output power using the combo choice list. 2.4. Set Max Gain to maximum value. 2.5. Set SALC check box on. 2.6. Set Power check box on for Downlink and uplink. 3. Result: 3.1. The unit is set to the required power, the SALC control the Gain so that the output power will not exceed the maximum output power. 1 2. Select Parameters and Control Screen Tab to display operating parameters 6. Click on Power Enable check box to enable the Downlink path operation. When the Check Box is empty, the Downlink is “Mute” 3. Set Downlink maximum output power Power Amplification Fields of Uplink Path (read only fields) 7. Click on Power enable check box to enable the Uplink path operation. When the Check Box is empty, the Uplink is “Mute” 1. Window in Green indicates proper connection to the Mini-Repeater 5. The maximum radiated output power must satisfy the MPE Categorical Exclusion Requirements of �2.1091. RF exposure compliance may need to be addressed at the time of licensing, as required by the responsible FCC Bureau(s), including antenna co-location requirements of �1.1307(b)(3). The maximum antenna gain for indoor use is 2 dBi. Uplink/Downlink (outdoor) grant conditions � The antenna used for this transmitter must be fixed-mounted on outdoor permanent structures. RF exposure compliance is addressed at the time of licensing, as required by the responsible FCC Bureau(s), including antenna co-location requirements of �1.1307(b)(3). Output power is the composite of multi-channels. Users and installers must be provided with antenna installation and transmitter operating conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance.
